Weekly-Social Sessions Timetable

• See below list of organisers for each session and to join WhatsApp group.
• From time to time other events may mean that some sessions are amended. These will be notified via the WhatsApp groups, and are also visible on the Clubspark court booking schedule - see "booking a court".

Social club sessions

These sessions are designed as primarily social, rather than ultra-competitive. There is a rota of more experienced members who volunteer to take charge at these club sessions. The role of the member in charge is to organise the members who turn up at a particular session into groups to play each other, and to circulate players so that everyone enjoys their game. There is no need to book into a social club session through Clubspark, but it is best (not necessary) if you contact the organiser for the session you want to attend.

Tuesday morning mixed social tennis, 10:30 to 12:30

Short sets are played, (best of seven games). There is a WhatsApp group set up for anyone wanting to join. Contact Oonaugh on 07958 968798 for more information.

Wednesday afternoon mixed social tennis, 14:00 to 16:00

Short sets are played, (best of seven games). There is a WhatsApp group set up for anyone wanting to join. Contact Julie on 07747 483032 for more information.

Thursday morning mixed social tennis, 10:30 to 12:00

This group is run by Ali and also has a WhatsApp group set up for club members wanting to join. If you want more information or to be included on the WhatsApp group, message Ali on 07762 578087.

Friday Club Night (mixed social tennis), 18:00 to 20:00

Sunday morning mixed social tennis 10:00 to 12:00

This is run by Sarah. If you want more information or to be included on the WhatsApp group, message Sarah on 07887 787963.

1st of the Month, Saturday Social Tennis 14:00 to 16:30

This tournament is run by Sue, Roxy and Julie. There is a WhatsApp group, and if you wish to ask any questions or be added to the group, please message Julie on 07747 483032.

WhatsApp Groups

The use of WhatsApp works well.  Please email us or contact the session leader if you wish to be included on any groups.  Every week those wanting to pay can let the group know they are available. It also helps when the weather may cause doubt so you know if the session is going ahead or not.

Please only use these groups for tennis availability only.

You can join or leave the group at any point by either sending the group leader a message or leave by clicking on the name of the group and then press "Exit Group" at the bottom of the screen.

If you do not wish to be disturbed by constant notification, turn them off by tapping the group name, this will show the group options.  You can change the custom tone to None or switch mute to yes, you will no longer be disturbed by noisy notifications.

Private use

Members can book a court for a group of members that they have arranged to play with privately. The court bookings diary can be accessed via the member’s court booking page.
