Tennis for all at Sherborne Tennis Club

This year Sherborne Tennis Club once again will host Acigne Tennis Club (Rennes) from Thursday 25th - Sunday 28th August 2022. A fun weekend of high quality tennis, outings, parties and picnics!

Open to all, so we would love you to get involved

Acigné is a little town near Rennes in France, and now, after covid, we are restarting our August Bank Holiday weekend Sherborne Tennis Club members challenge the Acigné Tennis Club in a Tennis Tournament. 

Various families host the players, and non-playing partners are most welcome to take in the many events organised. The venue will again alternate from year to year – the French hosted in 2019 so 2022 is the year when the French will come to us. 

2019 saw the Acigné Team setting a very challenging quiz in the beautiful town of Rennes, followed by a swim in the English Channel for those who felt brave enough!

We share meals together, and a grand party is arranged for the Saturday night.  It's a fantastic event, with the French enthusiastic to join in all the activities, AND win the cup!  2022 is our turn!   

All players at Sherborne are welcome to join in. There is a grading system, so that fun is had by all!
